This Thanksgiving law enforcement agencies, including the Jefferson police department and the Greene County sheriff’s office, will ramp up patrols and be on the lookout for seat belt violations.

Holiday of Lights under way at medical center
The spacious new lobby/corridor at Greene County Medical Center has allowed a seasonal favorite, the medical center auxiliary’s “Holiday of Lights” to grow. This year’s silent auction includes 50 wreaths, Christmas trees, porch decorations and table centerpieces, about 10 more than in previous years.
