The Greene County volleyball team came up against Kuemper, Carroll in the semifinals of Region 2 tournament action. The Knights are the #1 team in Class 3A, sporting a 27-1 season record. Their only loss was in the Hampton-Dumont tournament to Class 1A #1 Janesville in early October.
Greene County fell in the Oct. 25 semifinal by scores of 25-18, 25-3 and 25-15. No additional statistics were available.
The Rams end their season with an overall record of 11-25. They were seventh in the Heart of Iowa Conference at 2-6. Nevada was conference champion at 8-0. ~The Scranton Journal
