The holiday shopping season officially begins in Jefferson Nov. 10-12 with “Browse Days”.
This annual event, sponsored by the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, is held during regular business hours, and features a select group of Chamber members who invite shoppers to participate in discounts and weekly prize drawings.
This year, 13 Chamber members will invite customers to browse their stores in order to find gift ideas. ‘Browsers’ on these days will receive coupons for up to 20 percent off single items or total purchases through Christmas Eve.
Shoppers will also be able to register for the Christmas Certificate give-away drawings, to be held on Dec 5, 12, and 19. Three weekly winners will each receive $50 in Christmas Certificates. These prizes are redeemable at any participating business.
Participating businesses in this year’s Browse Days and Christmas Certificate give-away include Addie’s, Country Blessings, Fudge’s Flower Shop & Gifts, The Gift Garden at Greene County Medical Center, Royal Jewelers, Don’s Ace Hardware, TechZone, McAtee Tire & Servicer Center, Krieger’s Flower Shop, Jefferson Family Chiropractic, Angie’s Tea Garden, Deal’s Orchard, and Homestead Coffee and Bakery.
