Family Feud coming to a stage near you

family-feudAn abundance of laughter is guaranteed with Family Feud~Jefferson Edition takes the stage at History Boy Theatre Nov. 19.

The local version of the long-running television game show, which asks contestants to name the most popular responses to survey questions, is hosted by Jefferson Matters: Main Street as a “FUNraiser.”

Four teams have been recruited: Bunkers Dunkers- Phyllis Bunkers, Randy Bunkers, Evan Bunkers, Ellen Bunkers Ritters and Michael Dowd; Greene County Schools Cardigan Crew- Kathy Dobney, Amy McGinn, Jill Lamoureux, Wendy VanderLinden and Lisa Wilkins; Mom Jeans 4 Life- Erin Daniel, Bonnie Silbaugh, Laura Smith, Diana Smith and Nikki Uebel; and Righteous Sisters- Marianne Carlson, Linda Hall, Denise Harberts, Gina Harrington and Teresa Shahan.

Doug Rieder will be the emcee.

An added attraction will be “commercials” performed live or delivered “with as much creative energy as the ad topic dictates.” Commercial time is still available. Call the Jefferson Matters: Main Street office at 515-386-3585 for more information.

The doors at History Boy Theatre will open for Family Feud~Jefferson Edition at 6:30 for a bring-your-own-beverage reception and appetizers from Jefferson Main Street district restaurants. Family Feud will begin at 7:30.

Tickets are $25 each and are available at the Jefferson Matters: Main Street office  at 110 W. Lincoln Way or at The Printers’ Box on the south side of the courthouse square. Tickets can be reserved by emailing director@jeffersonmatters.org. Only 130 tickets will be sold.

All proceeds will go toward Jefferson Matters: Main Street projects.
