Jefferson Does drove 196 of the Benevolent, Patriotic Order of Does will host the Iowa/Minnesota/Nebraska East district meeting Oct. 14-15 at the Jefferson Elks No 2306 lodge.
The festivities get underway Friday with a banquet followed by a public ceremony that will begin at 8 pm. Special guest will be Does supreme president Karen Trachsel of Winter Park drove 86 in Florida.
Trachsel is also involved as a board member with a local non-profit charity in Florida, Hope Helps, that assists people in her community prevent homelessness.
Traschsel’s theme is “Does Pay It Forward” (with random acts of kindness).
