Tough DC-G team races to victory in Roland
Greene County cross country teams ran in the Roland-Story Invitational on Sept. 22. The girls team placed 10th and the boys were 14th. Dallas Center-Grimes raced away with the team trophy, scoring only 17 points. Bondurant-Farrar led the boys competition with 61 points.

The Greene County eighth grade volleyball team hosted Gilbert Monday, Sept. 26, and lost all three matches. Game scores for the A squad were 10-21, 4-21, 5-12; for the B squad 9-21, 9-21, 5-18; and for the C squad 20-22, 6-21, 16-21.
