The Greene County Rams won two games but no matches at the Ballard tournament Saturday, Sept. 17.
Game scores against host Ballard were 18-21, 23-21. Scores against Pella were 7-21, 18-21, and scores against Grandview Christian were 18-21 18-21.
In the consolation bracket the Rams played Woodward-Granger and lost with scores of 19-21, 25-23, 7-15.
Coach Donna Carhill reports that Kenna Marquardt was 35 for 36 serving with three aces and Emily Heupel was 20 of 21 serving with two aces.
Nadia Fisher had 19 kills and 17 digs. Hannah Stein had 17 kills and 15 digs. Megan Durbin had 18 kills and 32 digs. Hannah Promes had 62 assists.
“Although we didn’t post any match wins for the day we were never far behind, losing most games by only a few points,” Carhill said.
