Landus Cooperative has opened a photo contest for its 2017 calendars. Members of the cooperative, local communities, and customers are invited to submit rural and agricultural-themed photos.
“We encourage photographers to submit their best photos from all seasons for this contest,” said Landus Cooperative’s director of communications Alicia Heun. “We’re looking for great photos that showcase our members, customers, and staff and the important impact agriculture has on their communities and families.”
Entries are due by Thursday, Oct. 1, and should be submitted online at LandusCooperative.com
An social media contest will determine the “People’s Choice” photo for displays on the back page of the calendar. Facebook and Twitter fans can vote online for their choice of three photos in early October.
“As you are capturing the moment, we encourage you to keep in mind a few months that we celebrate within the agriculture community,” Heun added. Photos are not required to align with the theme; however, preference may be given to these categories.
- April: Landus Cooperative’s anniversary (photos of our locations or smiling folks in Landus Cooperative gear welcome).
- May: Beef Month

- August: Soybean Month
