See below) The Greene County Ram varsity football team played better offense than during the season opener last week, but they still came up short against the highly regarded Harlan Cyclones. The Rams played the non-conference game in Harlan and made the long ride home carrying a 42-19 loss.

To the editor: A common statement from those opposed to the bond referendum is that new buildings have nothing to do with the education, only the rooms student sit in. They assume this is an investment in buildings rather than anything that directly impacts students.
