Relatively dry conditions throughout the week were ideal for crop development and allowed Iowa farmers 5.4 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending July 31, according to the USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service. Greene County district court, week ending July 29

In Greene County district court Kevin Armando Montoya, 19, of Grand Junction was sentenced to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal mischief- third degree. The prison term was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. Montoya was fined $625 with a $218.75 surcharge and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge.…
