Rural security topic at ‘Coffee and Conversation’

Rural dwellers who want tips for reducing the risk of theft and vandalism are invited to a panel discussion, “Securing Your Farm Property,” Thursday, Sept. 7, from 9 to 11 am at the Greene County Extension and Outreach office in Jefferson.

The informal session will include a panel discussion with Shawnn Shouse, ISU Extension ag engineering field specialist, Greene County sheriff Steve Haupert, and Bob Smith of TechZone in Jefferson. Smith has expertise in indoor and outdoor security systems.

Coffee and rolls will be served. No reservation is needed. The session is sponsored by MacDonald Insurance and Kingsgate Insurance.
