In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Aug. 16 against Kimberly Ann Nelson of Jefferson after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of theft- fifth degree. She was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $5 county enforcement surcharge and $60 court costs. No judgment was entered on a charge of unlawful possession of prescription drug.
Heather Lindsey Ecklund of Des Moines was granted a deferred judgment after she pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, amended from domestic abuse assault- first offense. She was placed on informal probation for one year. A judgment was entered for a $100 civil penalty and $141 court costs.
A judgment was entered against Robert E. Barnard Jr of Des Moines on a charge of assault. Barnard was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge, a $5 county enforcement surcharge, and $60 court costs.
