The local veterans groups – the VFW, the American Legion, and the VFW auxiliary – are serving walking tacos with all the works at the VFW hall on the east side of the courthouse square in Jefferson Thursday, Aug. 11, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm during the Hot August Night Car, Truck, Motorcycle, and Tractor Show.
“Get out of the heat, come in for a seat,” the veterans say. Families are welcome.
Free will donations will be accepted. Proceeds will benefit all three veteran groups.
