Jefferson VFW Post 9599 presented a $250 donation to the Greene County 4-H Foundation Board in support of the 4-H program at this year’s premium auction concluding the 2016 Greene County Fair.
The 4-H Foundation provides funds for development opportunities such as scholarships to camps and conferences, record keeping awards, Citizenship Washington Focus trip, leadership training, and the Clover Kids program. Funds are raised through Clover Café sales at the Greene County Fair, donations, and memberships.
Representatives of VFW Post 9599 presented the check to 4-H members Justin Stream, Noble Hoyt, Cassidy Carstens, Cody Allen, and Parker Fitzpatrick, and Dr Steve Karber representing the 4-H Foundation Board.
