Jefferson residents enjoyed a cooler Fourth of July than in recent years, and although there was debris to pick up and a few broken tree limbs, most residents were happy finally to receive some rain.
High temperature for the week ending July 8 was 92 degrees, according to KCCI’s SchoolNet 8. Low temperature was 58 degrees. Jefferson received a total of 1.05 inches of rain.
