In Greene County district court the week ending June 3 persons pleaded not guilty as follows: James Harold Doran, 48, of Paton, assault causing bodily injury; Delbert Thomas Davis, 38, of Earlham, driving while license barred; and Jonathan Mitchell Cole, 19, of Des Moines, operating while intoxicated (OWI)-first offense. Trial dates were set for July 26 in every case.
Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Rory Van Huth, 48, of Des Moines has been charged with theft-second degree and unauthorized use of credit. The warrant was issued Feb. 5 and returned May 20.
Cases were initiated in Greene County district court as follows: Glenn Edward Summers, 33, of Glidden, burglary-second degree, and in a separate case, burglary- third degree; Kimberly Ann Nelson, 38, of Jefferson, unlawful possession of prescription drug and burglary-third degree; and Talon David Church, 18, of Ogden, possession of marijuana-second offense and possession with intent to deliver.
