This year two winners were awarded for the Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District’s Annual Poster Contest, this year’s theme was, “We All Need Trees”.
The winner of the lower age division was Becca Anderson, a Paton-Churdan second grader. The winner of the upper age division was Bailey Jo Anderson, a Paton-Churdan fifth grader. Both Becca and Bailey Jo are both the daughters of Barry and Brenda Anderson.
Greene SWCD secretary Amber Kenan awarded each winner with a $25 gift certificate to the A&W and a Dairy Queen ice cream cake that each winner could share with her class.
