In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered against Brett Everett Grundon of Grand Junction in a case initiated in district court last November. A charge of operating while intoxicated-first offense was amended to public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor. A judgment was entered against Grundon for a $250 fine with an $87.50 surcharge. Court costs were $140.
Identical judgments were entered against Justin Robert Lee Kelton of Paton and Zachery Allen Waters, also of Paton. Both were charged with public intoxication. Judgments were entered for a $100 fine with a $35 surcharge and $60 court costs.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Joe Edward Blackmon of Grand Junction, theft-fifth degree; Craig Darwin Presley of Jefferson, public intoxication; Christina L. Owens of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault- first offense; Greg Van Sickle of Dewey, AZ, public intoxication and disorderly conduct; Sheldon Dean McMain of Boone, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Richard Dean Evans of Henderson, NV, interference with official acts.
A case was initiated April 24 in district court against Johnathan Dale Laue of Grand Junction on a charge of domestic abuse assault-second offense. The charge was amended April 27 to assault-simple and the case was transferred to magistrate court. Also on April 24, a case was initiated in magistrate court against Laue on a charge of criminal mischief-fifth degree.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending April 29 as follows: Bobbi Jo Young of Council Bluffs, dark window or windshield, $50; Oseas Deras Martinez of Omaha, NE, and *Gerson Hernandez Santos of Stratford, no valid driver’s license, $200; and Jensen William Ruzicka of Jefferson, defective or unauthorized muffler system, $20.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.
