Jefferson finished April with a lot of showers, receiving 1.73 inches of rain during the week that ended at midnight Friday, April 29, with another 1.5 inches or so on Saturday.
According to KCCI’s SchoolNet site, high temperature for the week was 84 degrees on Sunday. The low temperature Sunday was warmer than the high temperature the end of the week, with a high Friday of only 51 degrees and a low of 45 degrees.
