Greene County Farm Bureau has announced Paton-Churdan senior Noah Juergensen and Greene County senior Lakota Larson as scholarship recipients for the class of 2016.

Juergensen is the son of Jill Juergensen of Churdan and the late Chris Juergensen. He plans to attend Iowa State University and pursue a degree in agricultural studies and then return to the family farm with a diverse knowledge of ag business, management, animal science and animal nutrition.

Larson is the daughter of Loel and Sandra Larson of rural Jefferson. She plans to attend the University of Iowa and earn a degree in agriculture business – accounting and law. She hopes to work for the Security and Exchange Commission as a forensic accountant.
