The Greene County boys track and field team placed 11th with 39 points at the Saydel Invitational on Thursday, April 14. Madrid ran away with the championship, scoring 185 points to top second place North Polk with 133.
Max Neese had a good day, capturing first place in the 200-meters with a time of 23.42 seconds. He was second in the 100-meters in 11.68. Daric Whipple was first in the 400-meter hurdles, breaking the tape in 57.26 seconds.
