Spring is here and gardens and yards are coming to life. The Greene County Master Gardeners will hold their 14th annual plant sale Saturday, May 7. The sale runs from 9 to 10:30 am at the commercial building on the Greene County Fairgrounds. Plants go fast so come early for the best selection, a spokesperson suggested.
This event features annual and perennial plants, house plants, vegetables, yard art, and much more. Plants come from Master Gardener members and other local gardens, offering proven products for our area.
Master Gardeners will be available to answer your gardening questions and provide free literature on a variety of topics. Proceeds from this event are used to provide free, community educational programs in Greene County and other projects.
