Toddler Fest, which in its 11th year has become a spring favorite for young families, drew 131 toddlers and pre-schoolers, and nearly as many adults, to the Greene County Community Center Saturday. Toddler Fest is hosted by librarians and staff from all six Greene County libraries, with special funding from the Greene County board of supervisors.

Spring is here and gardens and yards are coming to life. The Greene County Master Gardeners will hold their 14th annual plant sale Saturday, May 7. The sale runs from 9 to 10:30 am at the commercial building on the Greene County Fairgrounds. Plants go fast so come early for the best selection, a spokesperson suggested.

Bucket Fillers at Greene County Elementary have been announced for February and March. The Bucket Fillers program recognizes children who share love and happiness. They’re nominated for the award by adults in the school, with selection done by a committee.
