A buzzer beating 3-pointer by the Villanova Wildcats clinched Benjamin Feldmann the first place spot in the Jefferson March Mania contest.
Nearly 500 individuals participated in this year’s contest. Benjamin Feldmann earned the most points in the contest and was awarded a Dronium One with WiFi camera drone. Autumn Larson came in second place and received a Braven portable wireless speaker. Kyle Walker finished in third, winning Yurbuds in-ear earphones.
Kirsten Carman won $50 in Greene County Chamber Checks in a random drawing that all contestants were eligible for regardless of standings at the end of the challenge.
Contest participants were invited to fill out brackets for the NCAA men’s basketball championship tournament and earned points for each game they picked correctly. The contest was conducted online and sponsored by area businesses. Slam Dunk sponsors included Caleris, Greene County Medical Center, Home State Bank, Midland Power Cooperative, and Slininger-Shroeder Funeral Home. The contest was powered by Jefferson Telecom.
