About 75 boys, moms and grandmas enjoyed the Mother Son Date Night hosted by the Jefferson park and recreation department Friday evening at the Greene County Community Center.
After most boys’ favorite meal – pizza – the group played enough bingo for every boy to win a prize.
After tables were cleared and put away, the entire gym was available for bags, basketball, a football toss and target golf. The treadwall was available, too.
Sumo Ball was a favorite game. Large fitness balls were the only things allowed to contact an opponent, with the object being to force the opponent out of bounds.
