The Greene County High School music department will host the Iowa High School Music Association state jazz choir festival Monday, Feb. 8.
The first group goes on stage at 5:40 pm. Each group will perform, be judged, and given a short clinic on the high school auditorium stage.
The Greene County jazz choir, Jazzatonics, will perform at 8:30 pm.
The public is welcome. The ILHSMA collects an admission of $6 for adults and $3 for students to cover the cost of the event.
The high school music department will present its winter concert Thursday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 pm in the high school auditorium. The concert band, treble choir, concert choir and jazz choir will perform.
The public is invited to attend and there is no admission charge.
