LifeServe Blood Center suggests that this February, Iowans give the sweetest Valentine anyone could receive: the gift of life.
LifeServe Blood Center will hold a community blood drive Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 12;30 to 5:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.
Giving blood with LifeServe Blood Center only takes one hour, and each donation will go on to save the lives of up to three local hospital patients. Blood is the one gift that costs nothing to give, and literally comes from the heart.
