The Paton-Churdan girls basketball team more than doubled up on the Woodbine Tigers in Woodbine Jan. 30, topping the Tigers 78-32. The Rockets had won their December meeting in Churdan 71-49. P-C was up 24-13 after one quarter and 40-18 at halftime. The Rockets didn’t let up, scoring another 26 in the third quarter and building their lead to 66-26.

Rams lose two at home to Gilbert Tigers
The Greene County boys basketball team started out shooting well enough in a home game against the Gilbert Tigers Friday, but it takes more than one quarter to win a basketball game. The Rams led the Tigers 17-11 after the first quarter, having shot at 47 percent, but trailed 56-42 at the final buzzer.
