A soup supper fundraiser hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary, and the American Legion will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, at the VFW hall at 109 N. Chestnut St in Jefferson.
The three veterans groups will serve chili, potato soup, and vegetable soup, along with salad and desserts, beginning at 5 pm until 7 pm. Free will donations will be accepted. Leftover soup will be sold to the public at the end of the evening.
All proceeds will be divided among the three veteran groups, with most of the funds to benefit the current operating expenses and future community projects.
