A service of remembrance was held Saturday, Jan. 2, at The Dwelling Place in Jefferson for Donald R. Benson, 86, of Jefferson. Words of comfort were offered by the Rev Rod Block, pastor of the church. Honorary casket bearers were Don’s grandsons Noah, Jon, Bob, Dan, Matthew, Andrew, Justin, Nick and Joe Benson, Ben Altes and Steven Johnson.
