Jeff council slates special meeting
The Jefferson city council will hold a special meeting Thursday, Dec. 31, at noon at city hall. Two items are on the agenda: considering approval to hire a public works director; and considering the appointment of a police chief. According to city administrator Mike Palmer, police chief Dave Morlan is taking another position within the city.
