Adopt-A-Family assists families and provides service learning

The Greenbrier 4-H Club hosted a Christmas bowling and pizza party Sunday, Dec. 6. Bowling was held at Spare Time Lanes in Jefferson. Weather data, week ending Dec. 18

The weather challenged Jefferson residents during the week that ended Dec. 18 at 6 am. The 3-1/2 inches of precipitation, most of which was rain, resulted in wet basements and flooded yards. Volunteer weather observer John Beltz reported that 1.98 inches of rain fell Sunday morning into Monday. That followed nearly an inch on Saturday.
