Prairie Blue, on the west side of the courthouse square in Jefferson, is hosting holiday events the next two weekends.
Shoppers looking for locally produced items will find what they’re looking for Saturdays, Dec. 12 and Dec. 19, from 1 to 4 pm. Gift baskets can be customized with items from local bakers and farmers. Familiar Greene County farmers market vendors will include Bee Mindful, Better for You Bakery, John 15 Vineyard, Just A Mere Farm, Price Family Farm and Sungold Farm. Holiday hams from Just A Mere Farm will also be available.
Seasoned actors and musicians will share the stage Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7 pm for a Christmas show that will feature student actors and singers from the performing arts troupe at Prairie Blue Creative Arts. The evening will include complimentary refreshments and all ages are welcome. Seating is limited and tickets are available in advance at The Printer’s Box, during Prairie Blue’s Saturday hours, or reserve by email: prairiebluecreativearts@gmail.com. Funds raised will support PBCA’s Summer Youth Theatre.
