Jefferson police officers issued 12 citations and 42 warnings during a special Traffic Enforcement Program Nov. 22-29. November was warmer than usual, but despite that, Jefferson received more snow than usual for the month. According to volunteer weather observer John Beltz, the average high temperature was 51.6 degrees and the average low temperature was 32.6 degrees. Normal is an average high of 45.5 degrees and an average low of 25.6 degrees.
