A Greene County district court a charge of operating while intoxicated-first offense against Jay Dean Springer, 59, of Jefferson was amended to reckless driving. A judgment for a $100 fine with a $35 surcharge was entered against Springer in magistrate court. Court costs were $100.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Lance Edward Kruse, 33, of Scranton, driving while license barred; Dustin Eugene Leggitt, 39, of Jefferson, OWI-first offense; and Ronald Dean Mulder, 60, of Perry, felon in possession of firearm, possession of methamphetamine-third offense, and possession of marijuana-third offense.
