Gene and Sarah Bradley of Ames are the parents of a son, Cohen Edward, born Sept. 2. He weighed 7 pounds 8-1/2 ounces and was 21 inches long. Local grandparents are Elvin and Patti Thompson of Jefferson. Cohen is the 20th grandchild they have welcomed into their hearts.
