The Greene County Ministerial Association will host an ecumenical Thanksgiving service this Sunday, Nov. 22, at 6 pm at First United Methodist Church in Jefferson.
Pastor Sheldon Henderson of Central Christian Church will share the message. Choirs from the First United Methodist and Central Christian churches will provide music.
A free will donation will be taken for the Ministerial Association’s Good Samaritan Fund and the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center food pantry.
There will be a second ecumenical Thanksgiving service Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 7 pm at the Rippey United Methodist Church. Other churches participating are the Grand Junction United Methodist and Presbyterian Churches and St Brigid Catholic Church of Grand Junction.
All are welcome at either service.
