The Pheasants Forever Greene County chapter will hold its annual dinner and auction Friday, Nov. 6, at the Elks lodge in Jefferson. The evening begins with a social hour at 5:30, followed by a catered meal at 7 and a live auction at 8.
All proceeds from the event are used by the local chapter for projects of members’ selection. In the past, locally raised dollars have gone toward 650 acres of wildlife food plots, 2,600 acres of land acquisition, 7,600 acres for nesting projects and 195 acres for shelter belt projects.
Tickets for the banquet and membership information are available from Kevin Devilbiss at 515-386-3762.
The public is welcome.
