The Community Players of Greene County has announced audition dates for the winter production of the musical “Annie.”
Auditions for the children’s roles will be Sunday, Nov. 15, at First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson. Chorus auditions are slated for Monday, Nov. 15, at Greene County High School. Adults interested in specific roles will audition Tuesday, Nov. 17, at First Presbyterian Church. Audition times are 6 to 8 pm each day.
“Annie,” with score by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin and book by Thomas Meehan, is the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
Audition packets, including selected dialog and music that will be used in the auditions, are available now at the Jefferson public library in the adult department.
Something different the Players doing this time are putting together an audition packet. In these packets will auditions form selected dialog as well as music that will be used in auditions. They are available at the Jefferson Public Library on the adult side.
Performance dates are Feb. 26, 27, and 28.
