Greene County eighth grade volleyball coach Teresa Green summed up the 2015 season saying, “This eighth grade girls’ volleyball team showed continuous improvement throughout the season. They have a strong work ethic, as well as a positive and fun attitude.”

One-third of state’s soybeans harvested last week
Warm and dry weather allowed Iowa farmers to harvest nearly one-third of the state’s soybean crop during the week ending Oct. 11, according the USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service.
