The Raccoon Valley Aktion Club recently donated $500 to the Avenue of Flags fund for the two cemeteries in Jefferson. With generous donations from organizations and individuals, 124 flags damaged over the Memorial Day holiday can be replaced. Volunteers are working at repairing another 107 torn flags.
