The Paton-Churdan volleyball team topped Eagle Grove in a home match Thursday. Game scores were 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 25-16.
Senior Sydney Koch led the team in serving at 16 of 17 (94 percent) and two aces. Sophomore Mariah Tasler was 20 of 22 at the service line (91 percent) and four aces, and freshman Jenna Beyers was 11 of 12 (91 percent). Sophomore Grace Geisler served at 81 percent and had four aces. Overall, the Rockets were 83 of 95 at the line for 87.4 percent and had 12 aces.
Koch also led in kills at 15 and led in digs at 19. Beyers had 10 kills and seven digs. Senior Carleigh Paup had 16 assists and 15 digs. Mariah Tasler had 14 assists. Freshman Megan Carey had 11 digs
The Rocket volleyball team is 5-4 overall and 3-2 in Rolling Hills Activity Conference matches..
