In Greene County magistrate court Merissa Shawnay Olson of Jefferson sentenced to 30 days in jail after she pleaded guilty to charges of assault (amended from domestic abuse assault) and public intoxication. The jail time was suspended and she was placed on informal probation for one year. Olson was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge on each charge. She must pay restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees and $76.50 court costs.
Joseph Thomas Romeo II of Jefferson was found guilty at a trial Sept. 2 of disorderly conduct. He was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $60.
Joshua Harold Gingery of Churdan was sentenced to five days in jail after he pleaded guilty to a charge of assault. The jail time was suspended. The minimum fine and surcharge were also suspended. Gingery must pay $70.40 sheriff’s fees and $60 court costs.
Scarlett Marie Reyes of Half Moon Bay, CA, was sentenced to time served on a charge of public intoxication. The minimum fine and surcharge were suspended. She must pay $48 sheriff’s fees and $60 court costs. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.
Jared Lee Kragovich of Seymor was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge on a charge of public intoxication. He must also pay a $125 law enforcement initiative (LEI) surcharge and $120 court costs. Kragovich paid the fine and $75 toward the surcharges. A judgment was entered for the remaining $240.75.
A judgment was entered against Timothy M. Cadden of Jefferson on a charge of criminal mischief-fifth degree. Cadden was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $125 LEI surcharge. He must also pay restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees in an amount to be determined and $60 court costs.
