Greene County Development Corporation will hold its annual meeting Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Wild Rose Casino in Jefferson.
The evening begins with a social hour at 6 pm. The GCDC board will hold a brief meeting at 6:30 pm, and the dinner and program will start at about 7 pm.
The program will include a drone video of the new projects in Jefferson and updates from Tom Timmons of Wild Rose, Jane Fallon of Cargill, and Vaughn Bauer on the new developments in Paton.
The meeting will conclude at about 8:30.
The goal of the evening is to make sure Greene County residents are informed about the wide range of projects in which GCDC is involved, according to GCDC executive director Ken Paxton. The evening will give local officials, board members, businesses and their guests a chance to interact with GCDC.
The dinner and program are open to the interested public. There is a charge for the catered dinner. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to GCDC by calling 515-386-8255 or by email to ken@greenecountyiowa.com.
