In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Aug. 12 against Lance Michael Ross of Grand Junction on a charge of theft-fifth degree. Hot August Night a big success

Hot August Night, held Thursday around Jefferson’s courthouse square and the adjoining side streets was bigger than ever, with 450 cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors registered. The RPM Club had the most registered exhibitors in the show. Members gave their $200 cash prize to Freedom Flight. The Spirit Award was presented to Merlin Schau with his 1956 Chevy Bel Air.
