The first week of school was a comfortable one for students in Greene County’s school districts. Volunteer weather observer reports a high temperature of 80 degrees over the weekend, but a high of only 74 degrees once school started Monday. Low temperature for the week was 49 degrees on three nights.
Beltz reports .6 inches of rain Friday before 6 am. It continued to rain during the day; rain that fell after 6 am will be reported next week. Beltz also reported 1.62 inches of rain from 6 am Friday, Aug. 22, to 6 am the next day.
