A dentist new to the community is the first to purchase a parcel in the industrial park on N. Elm (Highway 4) in Jefferson south of Syngenta Seeds.
A sign at the site announces Jefferson Family Dentistry. Ken Paxton, Greene County Development Corp executive director, declined to name the dentist. Paxton said construction will begin soon and should be completed yet this autumn.
The industrial park was developed by GCDC and the city of Jefferson. A total of 21 acres are available for future projects.
