The office of U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) has scheduled hours for the “traveling office,” which is open to the public. The traveling office will be in Greene County Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 11 am to noon in the board room on the second floor of the courthouse in Jefferson.
Ernst’s staffers will be available to serve as a resource in dealing with the federal government. Please note that Sen Ernst will not be at the traveling office hours. Staffers can help with questions about eligibility issues like Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits or military affairs, immigration issues and other federal programs.
The schedule for other nearby counties follows: Carroll County, Wednesday, Aug. 19, 7:30 to 8:30 pm, Carroll County courthouse meeting room in Carroll; Boone County, Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm in the first floor conference room at the Boone County courthouse in Boone; Dallas County, Monday, Aug. 31, from 9 to 10 am in the second floor conference room at the courthouse in Adel; and Guthrie County, Monday, Aug. 31, from 3 to 4 pm in the public meeting room at the courthouse in Guthrie Center.
