The first Greene County residents of Jefferson to claim first place in an Iowa State Fair competition are twins Avril and Becca Shahan of Jefferson. They won in the 1-year-old division of the “Twins, Triplets and More” competition on the Bill Riley stage Thursday, Aug. 13, the first day of the fair.
