Area residents and all guests to the county are invited to visit the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower and save some money next month.
During the month of August, Jefferson Matters: Main Street is offering a Passport to Savings in the historic downtown district.
Anyone who pays for an adult admission to the Bell Tower during August will receive a Passport to Savings card for either a special offer or 15 percent off a purchase at participating merchants in the Jefferson Main Street district.
The promotion is in conjunction with an Iowa Tourism “Back to Summer” promotion of the Bell Tower. “Enjoy your summer with summer savings from the merchants in downtown Jefferson and enjoy your ride to the top of the tower,” a Jefferson Matters spokesperson said.
